Activities and Dress Up Days

Each morning we will meet in the courtyard at 8:15AM for parades and a group picture.

Tickets for in – school activities can be purchased during lunches and in the main office for $3 each.

All-inclusive Activity tickets (which include all activities and the dance) will be sold for $40 each on Rycor. See below under the Dance ticket sales section for more information.

Monday, October 5th – Hakuna Matata –  (No worries today! Dress up in your wildest animal prints, animal patterns, or as your favorite animal)

Activity: Powder Puff will be held at night. Tickets are $4.00 each and all are welcome to attend, including parents!

Tuesday, October 6th – Tweedledee & Tweedledumb Day (We’re Seeing Double – Dress up as Your Favorite Disney Duo)          

Activity: Four Square

Wednesday, October 7th– Lights, Camera, Disney (Dress up according to your class’s movie theme)      

Activity:  Rock, Paper, Scissors

  • Seniors – Old People
  • Juniors – Avengers
  • Sophomores – Frozen
  • Freshmen – Moana

Thursday, October 8th – Woody & Jessie’s Reach for the Sky Day (Dress up in your best Western Wear)             

Activity: Rodeo Games (attend if All-Activity ticket or individual ticket was purchased) $3

Friday, October 9th – We’re All in This Together Spirit Day  (Dress in Black & Gold for Spirit Day)    

Activity:  Homecoming Pep Rally

Homecoming Game: vs. Sickles HS at 7:30PM with the King and Queen crowned before the game.

Homecoming Dance

Saturday, October 10th 6PM to 10PM – Happily Ever After Homecoming Dance

Saturday, October 10th at 6PM – In order to attend the dance, each student must complete the following and meet the Dance Meeting Expectations.

Dance Expectations Parent Meeting – This meeting is an expectation that must be completed and/or attended by a student’s parent/guardian.

The expectation can be fulfilled by completing the  Parent Dance Meeting Expectations Online Course if it has been requested. This course is found in the student’s myLearning. It should take about 30 minutes to complete the class online. Have your student look for the invitation that will be at the top of the myLearning Announcement Page. Once you have completed it, Ms. Schultz will be assigning a Mustang Dance Number.

Where are the Mustang Dance Numbers – These have been posted in myStudent as the ACTIVITY NUMBER on the DEMOGRAPHICS SCREEN. To find it you follow the following directions:

  1. Go to the OVERVIEW screen in the myStudent app.
  2. Click on MORE INFO.
  3. Click on STUDENT INFO.
  4. Click on DEMOGRAPHIC
  5. Scroll all the way to the bottom and find the ACTIVITY NUMBER.
  6. The ACTIVITY NUMBER is your DANCE NUMBER.

Dress Code – Students need to make sure that they are in dress code for this event. If there is a concern about an outfit or dress, please email Ms. Schultz (jschultz@pasco.k12.fl.us) with a picture of the outfit or dress and she can let you know the decision.

The following dress code is applicable to all students and guests who wish to enter the Homecoming. All guests must comply with all school and Code of Conduct requirements. If you have questions concerning your dress, it is your responsibility to seek prior approval for administration. Any questions regarding dress should be resolved before that evening. Any student or guest that fails to meet any of the following conditions will be denied entry to the event:

  • The following dress code is applicable to all students and guests who wish to enter the Homecoming. All guests must comply with all school and Code of Conduct requirements. If you have questions concerning your dress, it is your responsibility to seek prior approval for administration. Any questions regarding dress should be resolved before that evening. Any student or guest that fails to meet any of the following conditions will be denied entry to the event:
  • All students must wear formal or semi-formal attire appropriate for a school-sponsored event. Acceptable attire includes: a dress, gown, pantsuit, formal jumpsuit, or coordinated two-piece formal outfit, dress pants with a dress shirt, formal footwear, such as dress shoes, heels, dress sandals, or flats, a tie and jacket are strongly recommended when wearing dress pants and a dress shirt.
  • All clothing must fit securely and provide appropriate coverage throughout the dance. Pants must be worn securely at the waist. Clothing may not be see-through or expose intimate areas. Strapless and two-piece formal outfits are permitted; however, necklines must provide appropriate coverage, and all parts of the outfit must remain securely in place. Students wearing shorter dresses or skirts are strongly encouraged to wear fitted shorts underneath.
  • The following items are not permitted: Polo-style shirts, T-shirts, or other casual shirts, jeans, denim, khakis, cargo pants, Dickies, shorts, or other casual pants, Work boots, torn clothing, chains, spikes, or similar accessories, clothing containing sexually suggestive or explicit content, clothing or accessories referencing tobacco, alcohol, drugs, or other prohibited products, and hats, bandanas, or nonreligious head coverings.
  • Students whose attire does not meet these expectations will not be admitted. Adjustments made at the door or during the dance—including pinning clothing or adding a jacket, bodysuit, or other garment—will not be accepted as a solution to a dress-code violation.
  • The principal or designee will make the final determination regarding whether attire complies with the dress code. That decision is FINAL.

ALL-INCLUSIVE Ticket Sales – All-inclusive ticket sales are available via Rycor beginning on September 17th. They are $40 each until 2PM on Tuesday, October 6th. After that, individual tickets can be bought for the activities and the dance.

Dance ONLY Ticket Sales – Dance ONLY ticket sales are available via Rycor. Dance ONLY tickets are $35 each until 3PM on Friday, October 9th. These will go on sale beginning on Tuesday, October 6th. This is the same price for the Non-JWMHS Guest. We will sell tickets to JWMHS student ONLY at the door on the night of Homecoming for $40 each.

JWMHS Student Expectations Agreement – This form needs to be completed if you are a JWMHS Student. Students must have a student signature, parent signature, and dance number in order for this to be filled out correctly. You will need to submit this form when you pick up your dance ticket.

Guest Request Form – This form needs to be completed if you are a non-JWMHS student. Students must have a student signature, parent signature, and copy of a PHOTO ID in order for this to be filled out correctly. Middle school students and people 21 or older on the day of the dance cannot attend. You will need to submit this form by Friday, October 9th at 12PM to Ms. Schultz.
