Here are the highlights from the JWMHS Save the Date Call for MustangU Orientation for the Class of 2030!
This is Ms. Schultz, your principal, and I would like to welcome our new Mustangs to the RANCH! This is your first Sunday evening call and you can expect to receive one each and every Sunday while we are in school to get you ready for each week and remind you of all of the great things going on at JWMHS. We are so proud to be Mustangs and be part of the best school in Pasco County. We are also so excited to meet each of you on Friday, July 31st at MustangU beginning at 8AM. We ask that our new Mustangs join us in the cafeteria for check-in. Then, students will be in different activities from 8AM until 10:30AM.
You will soon receive a mailout reminding you about MustangU on Friday, July 31st. Post that on the refrigerator to remind you of that exciting day! In your email there is an attachment that give you all of the links and QR codes so that you can pay fees, see your schedule, and purchase Mustang gear from our online store in advance. The links for fees and schedules will NOT be available until closer to the event on July 31st. We believe it will open on July 30th, but will send out communication to everyone when they are available.

Parents and guardians, as a reminder, when you login to your Parent Portal for myStudent, please make sure that you complete all of the required forms and documents. Again, we believe that all of this will be available beginning on July 30th, so login then. After students’ last session at Mustang U, we ask that parents/guardians join their students at 10:30AM to take a self-guided tour of campus, as well as find out about what more JWMHS has to offer! Assistance will be available if you need help paying fees, buy a yearbook, or renting a locker. NJROTC cadets will be around campus to direct students to rooms until noon.
We will have Mustang Gear available for sale during this time in the gym, including Beat the Knights Shirts, Stang Gang Shirts, hats, sweatshirts, and our Stampede Spirit Shirt! Various sports and club offerings will have tables set up in the gym for you as well.
Parents and guardians, we will hold a brief parent meeting in the gymnasium beginning at 8:10AM. This meeting will be a brief introduction to JW Mitchell High School.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday, July 31st and can’t wait to start each of you off on the right hoof as you learn to run like a Mustang! See you there!
