For all updates regarding school closures during the storm, please see our weather page.

Dear Mustangs,

Due to the closure of schools and the impending hurricane, we have made some changes to our Homecoming Week.

Tomorrow, Wednesday, September 25th we will hold Rodeo Games and celebrate our Country Music Dress Up Day instead of Four Square and I’m A Big Fan Dress Up Day. So, rustle up your best western wear and show your #MustangSPIRIT!

As of right now, we will have school on Friday, September 27th. This means that as of right now we are going to have our Homecoming Football Game and Homecoming Court Festivities as scheduled on Friday night at the game. Should this change and we do not have school on Friday, September 27th, we will play our Homecoming Football Game and hold Homecoming Court Festivities on Monday, September 30th instead. We will be communicating this information out to all should it be necessary.

Our Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, September 28th at 6PM. Of note, the Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday night at JWMHS at 6PM whether we have school on Friday or not.

Students can purchase DANCE ONLY tickets throughout the rest of this week beginning at 4PM today. Remember to bring the JWMHS Student Behavior Agreement  when you pick up your ticket in the Main Office. If students do not pick up your ticket by the end of the day on Friday, students can bring the JWMHS Student Behavior Agreement to the Homecoming Dance on Saturday and we will have a list to get students into the Homecoming Dance. NON-JWMHS Guest Requests are still due on Friday, September 27th at 12PM. These can be sent to me, Ms. Schultz, via email with a copy of the photo ID of the guest. I will be reviewing these throughout the week.

We hope that everyone stays safe during the weather.

Go Mustangs!
