Student schedules, emergency cards, and parent consent forms will be available via the parent portal on 7/31/24.  Create a parent portal at https://www.pasco.k12.fl.us/parents.

Here are the highlights from our School Messenger Call for the Week of February 27th!

We will be holding breakfast until 835AM at the cafeteria and then will have breakfast outside of Student Services. Please make sure that you grab your breakfast and go to class quickly. Do not dilly dally about.

Parents, we need your help reminding students that they need to pick up after themselves in the cafeteria and on the patio. We have had to close the patio because it has been littered with an excessive amount of trash. Please help us to keep JWMHS clean.

Over Spring Break we will have changes made on campus, including the addition of fencing. We will have more information soon!

In RANCH we have celebrated Black History Month and during the month of March we will celebrate Women’s History Month, as well as continue to review mental health issues.

Best wishes to the JWMHS Chorus and Band at MPA this week and ROTC at their State Drill Meet!

Congratulations to Leo Alexeyev who has been named a National Merit Finalist!

Congratulations to Indoor Percussion who earned 1st place at their FFCC competition! Congratulations to our AP Environmental students who won Best of Pasco at the Envirothon!

Congratulations to Mustang Wrestling, Logan O’Leary (3rd), and Andrew Mitchell (4th) who qualified for the FHSAA State Finals. The last time Mitchell High School had a state qualifier was 2015!

Congratulations to Baseball on their performance in the Steve Georgiadis Tournament and to Aiden Miller, Christian Medeira, and Nick Delnegro who were named to the All Tournament Team! As a reminder, all tickets for sporting events must be purchased via GoFan (https://gofan.co/search) and we will not accept paper tickets or screenshots. The ticket must be on your mobile device.

Get your commemorative 1st annual Trinity Cup t-shirt, now available on Rycor/Student Pay. Once purchased, you can pick up your t-shirt from Mrs. Van de Boe in the Main Office. When you wear this shirt to any of our spring games against RRHS at home, you will get in free. Get them while they last!!!

The Senior Graduation Fee is $100 and can be paid on Rycor/Student Pay. This graduation fee is due on May 25th.

Our Junior/Senior Prom will be held on March 26th at 6PM at Innisbrook. Students need to make sure that they are in good standing for attendance, GPA, and behavior in order to attend Prom. This includes attending classes, including RANCH. You can purchase tickets and download the necessary forms beginning Monday, February 21st! Through the end of the month, tickets are $85 each. Beginning on March 1st they will go up! Buy your tickets early! If your parent/guardian needs to take the Dance Expectations Meeting, please email Ms. Schultz at jschultz@pasco.k12.fl.us and she will assign the class.

If you have an eSchool placeholder, on campus or off campus, you MUST have six new segments/semesters/classes. If you have not finished your first semester classes, they do not count in second semester’s total of six. Please continue to work on those classes as they need to be completed and then make sure that you begin your new classes. Do not procrastinate as second semester flies by!

Parking on campus is a privilege and you must have a hangtag and spot to park on campus. Applying for a spot does not guarantee parking. In fact, there is a currently a waiting list for those who want to park. We know that many of you  received cars over the holiday, and you must have a hangtag to park on campus. This means you must apply to park. If you have not applied, you will not be on the waiting list if a spot opens. Please follow our rules.

Please make sure that you can pass the Covid-19 screener (Student Covid-19 Screener) each morning that is found on our website. If you cannot, please stay home. If you are positive for Covid-19 or have been exposed to someone who is positive for Covid-19, please stay home and contact your administrator so that we can help you with your school work.

Please read our newsletter, Around the RANCH, as it has a lot of important information! You can read it here: https://www.smore.com/yutwzb

Let’s make more excellence this week in Mustang Nation!

Giving to JWMHS

We would truly appreciate any support that you can provide to JWMHS. No amount is too small or too big for our organizations. We are also selling banners that will hang throughout campus. If you are interested in purchasing a banner, please call (727) 774-9202 and we can assist you. And, here are some links to donate on Tuesday. We thank you for your support!

Baseball Stadium Safety Fundraiser – This fundraiser will go to replacing the backstop fencing so that it is safe for fans when there are foul balls, as well as removing roots that have grown onto the field and replacing it with a warning track. It will also assist with upgrading the facility.
