Here are the highlights from our School Messenger Call for the Week of February 13th!
Happy Valentine’s Day! We look forward to seeing all of the balloons and bears tomorrow around campus. Please have them only come on Monday so that we don’t have to enroll them into classes.
We will be holding breakfast until 835AM at the cafeteria and then will have breakfast outside of Student Services. Please make sure that you grab your breakfast and go to class quickly. Do not dilly dally about.
If you are a Junior or Senior and have not met the testing graduation requirements in Algebra 1 or English Language Arts we will have bootcamps this week to prepare you for the next round of testing. Please plan on being there so that you can prepare and potentially meet the graduation requirement. This is especially important for seniors who have not met the graduation requirements as you will only have a few more opportunities to do so.
Congratulations to Winter Guard who earned 1st place at their FFCC competition!
Congratulations to Boys Mustang Soccer on their win over SLHS this Saturday, 3-1. Congratulations to Mustang Wrestling for earning 2nd place in SAC and Logan O’Leary who is a SAC Champion. Congratulations to Girls Mustang Weightlifting as they are the State Runner Up in Snatch!
Good luck to Boys Soccer who will play in the Regional Finals at home this Wednesday at 7PM! Our Spring Sports have also begun. We are excited to watch our student athletes play with integrity and good sportsmanship!
In RANCH we will celebrate Black History Month and we will continue to review human trafficking and mental health issues.
Seniors! We are currently sold out for Grad Bash this year at Universal Studios on Friday, April 8th! If you are interested in going, please see Mrs. Daniel to put your name on the Grad Bash Waiting List. You can also email her at hdaniel@pasco.k12.fl.us and let her know. To get another bus, we will need to have 50 more seniors sign up.
The Senior Graduation Fee is $100 and can be paid on Rycor/Student Pay. This graduation fee is due on May 25th.
Our Junior/Senior Prom will be held on March 26th at 6PM at Innisbrook. More information will come, but students need to make sure that they are in good standing for attendance, GPA, and behavior in order to attend Prom. This includes attending classes, including RANCH.
Get your commemorative 1st annual Trinity Cup t-shirt, now available on Rycor/Student Pay. Once purchased, you can pick up your t-shirt from Mrs. Van de Boe in the Main Office. When you wear this shirt to any of our spring games against RRHS at home, you will get in free. Get them while they last!!!
All paperwork for Spring Sports will now be completed online at Athletic Clearance (https://athleticclearance.fhsaahome.org/). This can also be found on our website. If you played a Fall Sport, see Ms. Dixon to get a copy of your paperwork to upload. If you played a Winter Sport, please log into your Athletic Clearance and add the spring sport you wish to play. Do not create a new account.
As a reminder, all tickets for sporting events must be purchased via GoFan (https://gofan.co/search) and we will not accept paper tickets or screenshots. The ticket must be on your mobile device.
If you have an eSchool placeholder, on campus or off campus, you MUST have six new segments/semesters/classes. If you have not finished your first semester classes, they do not count in second semester’s total of six. Please continue to work on those classes as they need to be completed and then make sure that you begin your new classes. Do not procrastinate as second semester flies by!
Parking on campus is a privilege and you must have a hangtag and spot to park on campus. Applying for a spot does not guarantee parking. In fact, there is a currently a waiting list for those who want to park. We know that many of you received cars over the holiday, and you must have a hangtag to park on campus. This means you must apply to park. If you have not applied, you will not be on the waiting list if a spot opens. Please follow our rules.
Please make sure that you can pass the Covid-19 screener (Student Covid-19 Screener) each morning that is found on our website. If you cannot, please stay home. If you are positive for Covid-19 or have been exposed to someone who is positive for Covid-19, please stay home and contact your administrator so that we can help you with your school work.
Due to a technical issue, our newsletter, Around the RANCH, will be delayed. When it is ready, we will post it on our website and social media. Thank you for your patience.
Let’s make more excellence this week in Mustang Nation!
We hope you have a great evening! Thank you for reading!
Go Mustangs!
