Here are the highlights from the School Messenger Call for the Week of July 30th – Orientation Day & Open House on 8/4!
This is Ms. Schultz, your principal, and I would like to welcome everyone back to school this year! We are so proud to be Mustangs and be part of the best school in Pasco County. Congratulations to all of our Mustangs as we are an A school!
We are so excited to host Orientation Day and Open House on Friday, August 4th from 8:30AM to 11:30AM. This event is for all of our Mustangs, from grades 9 to 12, and there are both in person and virtual options! You do not have to come to campus to have a successful Orientation Day and Open House at JWMHS. But, if you do come, we can’t wait to see your there!

In this newsletter, you will have all of the links and QR codes so that you can pay fees, see your schedule, and purchase Mustang gear from our online store in advance. You can complete these tasks in advance of August 4th. You should be able to see your schedules now. Parents and guardians, as a reminder, when you login to your Parent Portal for myStudent, please make sure that you complete all of the required forms and documents.
If you choose to come to campus, you can meet your teachers, see your schedules, pay fees, buy yearbooks, rent lockers, and take a self-guided tour of campus, as well as find out about what more JWMHS has to offer, including clubs and athletics! We will have Beat the Knights shirts and our 2023-2024 Tradition Starts Here Stampede Shirt available for $15. We will also have Stang Gang Shirts available for $10 each. You will also be able to pre-order them should we sell out and they will be ready for our big game against RRHS! #BeatTheKnights!
In order to make this year most excellent, make a donation to our school online! When you do, you will receive free Mustang Gear! These donations are called 23-24 Faculty and Staff Appreciation Donation and 23-24 Mustang Excellence Donation. We appreciate your generosity in advance.
Parents and guardians, as a reminder, you must participate in the Parent/Guardian Dance Meeting before your child can attend dances at JWMHS. The online option will be available after August 1st in your child’s myLearning account. We are excited to let families know that all students will receive free breakfast and lunch this year!
If you are starting practice tomorrow for our of our sports, please stay hydrated and drink water! It is very hot outside and we want you all safe!
