A copy of driver's license, current insurance, and registration information must be uploaded to this application. Students must also score a 70% or higher on the Safe Behind the Wheel Driving Class (https://pasco.instructure.com/enroll/AB7ECK) prior to being issued a parking tag. The link can also be found on the front page of the JWMHS webpage. (Admin will verify score prior to issuing a parking tag, so there is no need to send us your score).
Note: Seniors who have their permit, but want to paint a reserved space, may upload their permit to secure a spot. Once the license is obtained, please email it to Mrs. Baldwin so your application can be updated and a parking tag can be issued.

I am a senior and would like to paint a parking spot in the Purple Parking Lot.
-
Rules:
1. All painting must be done on Saturday, July 27th from 7:00AM – 1:00PM….NO EXCEPTIONS! (In case of inclement weather, a rain date will be scheduled). Please make sure that all painting is completed by 1PM.
2. The Purple parking lot will be closed to thru traffic on painting day, so please park in Green parking.
3. All designs must be approved prior to painting. A copy of your design must be uploaded with your application. Clearly draw the design you plan on using. Please take a picture of the drawing you submit so you can reference it on the painting day. If administration has an issue with your submission, you will be contacted to make appropriate changes.
4. Once your design has been approved, you must follow this design exactly on the painting day – NO changes allowed without permission from the admin.
5. Students must provide their own WATER-based, LATEX paint and supplies and must bag their own trash. Please bring your own trash bag for your trash (bags may be disposed in the dumpsters in the purple lot). PLEASE DO NOT THROW UNUSED PAINT OR SUPPLIES DIRECTLY IN THE DUMPSTERS!!! NO SPRAY PAINT (OF ANY KIND) may be used (regardless of if it’s water-based or not…no exceptions!).
6. DO NOT COVER THE WHITE LINES OF THE PARKING SPACE. Students must leave 4 inches between the design and the white lines, and the top & the bottom of the spot. Please make sure to tape off this border when painting. Do not alter the painted numbers on the outside of the spot.
7. Designs must be school appropriate. The following items are prohibited:
a. No offensive language, political themes, or pictures/symbols with double meanings.
b. No negative/rude language or “gang-style” tagging.
c. No nicknames, no girlfriend/boyfriend names, etc. (ONLY your own name)
d. No images/references to weapons, alcohol, inappropriate items/objects or other such items that are prohibited in the Code of Conduct.
**Note: prohibited items will be painted over at the discretion of the Principal, Assistant Principal, or School Resource Officer. Disciplinary action may be taken & you will forfeit your right to an assigned parking space and/or to drive on campus.
8. Students will not be allowed to alter their spots after the assigned painting day.
9. Parking spots will be assigned for those students who have completed applications. All applications (including license, insurance, registrations, & safe behind the wheel test scores) should be completed online no later than July 25th at 3PM in order to paint on Saturday, July 27th.
