Here are the highlights from the Weekly School Messenger Call for the Week of September 30th!

Thank you to all of you who made Homecoming Week fun! Congratulations our seniors are securing the #MustangSpirit stick and for a strong second place showing by the sophomores! We also want to congratulate Kym-Mani King and Abby McNulty, the king and queen, as well as Aidan McCall and Lindsey Hoskins, the prince and princess! Finally, we would like to thank Student Council and all of the sponsors, especially Mrs. Besack, for a great week!

And now, welcome back to reality and post Homecoming! As a reminder, please be in dress code, making sure that shirts to not go off of the shoulder and that the midriff is not showing. We also want to remind everyone to be aware of the length of skirts, dresses, and shorts.

There are two weeks left in the first quarter! Make sure that you finish #MustangSTRONG! Attendance matters and we want to remind you to be present and engaged.

We are still collecting for Noah’s Bandage Project! For every 10 boxes of cool bandaids that you bring in, we will be offering free Bahama Bucks! Please bring your bandaids this week to claim your free Bahama Bucks to the front office at Ms. Schultz’s office! This week only!

We are also going to be starting Socktober and collect socks for different local charities. Socks will be collected in RANCH classes starting next Monday, October 8th! We will need socks for people of all ages, from babies to adults.

If you have middle school and high school students, please drop off your middle school student first. Turning left out of the high school causes traffic jams. Please be considerate of each other and follow the rules.

At our home games this week, we will continue to enforce the Pasco County School District Safety and Security policies. Please make sure that you are familiar with these policies. If you are interested in purchasing a clear bag, our cheerleaders are selling them for $15 each!

We also want to remind seniors to make your senior portrait appointment ASAP. Only half of you have had your senior picture taken. You must take a picture with Gigante Productions in order to be in the yearbook. So, call Gigante Productions at 813-907-1078. A limited number of senior photo appointments will be available on campus on November 9th, but appointments are filling up fast! See Mrs. McNulty if you want to sign up for a spot. The deadline for seniors to be photographed for the yearbook is November 12 and it is fast approaching.

Have a great week! And, go Mustangs!
