On Tuesday, August 9th, we will hold our Orientation Day for all current 10th through 12th graders from 9AM to 1PM.  Students with last names beginning with A through K will line up down the gym hallway of the Boys Locker Room.  Students with last names beginning with L through Z will line up down the gym hallway of the Girls Locker Room.  Our Mustang staff and JROTC cadets will be present to assist you to the correct hallway.

While you are waiting to pick up your schedule in the back hallway of the gym, please fill out your Healthy Student Form as well as your Yellow Emergency Card.  These are two very important documents that need to be completed before paying your school fees.

Parents are not required to attend on Tuesday; however, we ask that you speak with your children about filling out information requested accurately and completely. If your children can’t, please ask them to bring the forms home and return them to their first period teachers on the first day of school.

After you pick up your schedule, students will enter the back of gym and head to the parent contact information station.  In an effort to improve communication, we ask that you enter the parent email and phone number.

After entering parent information, please proceed to a cashier’s table.  The tables on the far ends are CREDIT only via the School Pay program, while the tables in the middle are for cash or check.  There are also numerous other services that will be available such as purchasing PE uniforms, buying a yearbook at the lowest price of the year, receiving a locker assignment, adding funds to your lunch account, signing up for free/reduced lunch, and checking out some of the clubs Mitchell has to offer.

Seniors, please make sure to stop by the Cap & Gown table to do your cap and gown sizing as well as to select how you would like your name spelled on your diploma.  Senior fees are $80 and can be paid when you pay your other school fees.

10th-12th grade students who do not attend Orientation Day on Aug 9th will get their schedule on the first day of school. We will send out another School Connects next Sunday with information on how to find your first period.

We hope you are proud to #BeMUSTANGS and are ready to #Live4Mustangs as #ExcellenceHappensHere! We look forward to a great year!
