Here are the highlights from the Weekly School Messenger call for the week of September 2nd.
On Tuesday, September 4that 6:30PM in the Media Center we will hold our annual Senior College Application Help Night. If you are in the class of 2019 and need assistance with applying for college, Mrs. Chamberlin will be there to help!
Permanent student parking hangtags have been distributed this week. Students must bring their temporary paper tag to get the new hang-tag! Please come and pick up your hangtag this week. The temporary tags will expire at the end of this week.
Parents and Guardians, please check in at the front office before going to a teacher’s room or counselor’s office. We need to provide you with a visitor’s badge and make sure that the person that you would like to see is available. We also ask that you park in the visitor spots as all of our parking spots are numbered this year. If you need to pick up your child at Student Services, please park along the curb near Student Services.
We do not allow food deliveries to campus that include outside food. Please do not deliver or have delivered food per our School Board policy.
Please contact Mary Davis, the school nurse, if your child has a medical condition. Students are not allowed to carry any medication, including Advil, cough drops or antibiotic ointment. Please contact our clinic if your child needs medication administered during the school day. Students who need to carry emergency medications – EpiPen‘s, asthma inhalers or diabetes supplies, should see the school nurse or the clinic assistant to get the required paperwork.
Our next #MustangsRiseAbove Parent Dance Meeting Expectation will be held on September 10thand your parent/guardian must have participated in one of the Parent Dance Meetings that were held last year, online or in person, if you want to attend the Homecoming Dance, Winter Ball, or Prom. Again, these meetings will allow each student to get a unique dance number that will be required to purchase a ticket to any of the dances. If you attended or participated last year, you will not need to again. If you have any questions, please email Ms. Schultz.
Seniors, make your senior portrait appointment ASAP. Call Gigante Productions at 813-907-1078. A limited number of senior photo appointments will be available on campus on November 9th, but appointments are filling up fast! The deadline for seniors to be photographed for the yearbook is November 12.
