Here are the highlights from the Weekly School Messenger Call for the Week of October 28th.

As a point of emphasis for today’s call, please be in dress code. Make sure that shirts do not go off of the shoulder and that the midriff is not showing. Shoulders should not be exposed completely. Tying shirts at the bottom causes a shirt to be out of dress code. Specifically, shirts must be able to be tucked in and remain tucked in. This is the way that you will know that it is within dress code. Putting a jacket or sweater on will not solve your dress code issue. If you are out of dress code, you will need to change your clothes. We also want to remind everyone to be aware of the length of skirts, dresses, and shorts. Please visit the school website for further information regarding the dress code should you have any questions.

We have started Socktober and will collect socks for different local charities. Socks will be collected in RANCH classes! We will need socks for all ages including babies to adults. For every 10 pairs of socks that you turn in to your RANCH teacher, you will earn Bahama Bucks!

On Thursday, we will also collect food items for our Thanksgiving Baskets. For every 10 items of canned food or boxed items donated to our RANCH teacher, you will also earn Bahama Bucks! To the RANCH that collects the most food items, there are prizes ahead! We will collect food items through November 9th!

If you have middle school and high school students, please drop off your middle school student first. Turning left out of the high school causes traffic jams. Please be considerate of each other and follow the rules.

Congratulations to our #MustangVolleyball team on their Regional win! They play again this week against Sunlake. We also want to congratulate the Boys and Girls #MustangGolf teams on their District Titles, and Nick Gabrelcik for qualifying for States again! Our Boys #MustangSwim team finished as the District Runner-Up! Finally, congratulations to our #MustangFootball team on their 4thconsecutive District Championship! Best wishes to all of our teams and athletes as they compete in the State playoffs this week!

We also want to wish our Marching Mustangs well as the march in the MPAs this weekend.

If you are a senior and member of the Class of 2019, please go to our website and complete the CAP & GOWN and DIPLOMA order link. You can find it on the sliders, as well as the Class of 2019 webpage.

We also want to remind seniors to make your senior portrait appointment ASAP. Only half of you have had your senior picture taken. You must take a picture with Gigante Productions in order to be in the yearbook. So, call Gigante Productions at 813-907-1078. A limited number of senior photo appointments will be available on campus on November 9th, but appointments are filling up fast! See Mrs. McNulty if you want to sign up for a spot. The deadline for seniors to be photographed for the yearbook is November 12 and it is fast approaching. Finally, the deadline for senior dedication pages in the yearbook is December 14th. Do not miss out on this opportunity. See any member of the yearbook staff for more information.

The Senior Panoramic will be held on THIS Tuesday, October 30that 8:30AM in the gymnasium.

As this week is Halloween, we want to remind our students to be safe while they are out trick or treating. During the school day, we will allow students to wear SCHOOL APPROPRIATE, IN DRESS CODE costumes. Students may NOT wear masks or bring anything that looks like a weapon. If a student comes in something inappropriate or out of dress code, the student will have to change. Please have fun and make good choices as we extend this privilege.

Thank you for listening. Have a great week! And, go Mustangs!
