Here are the highlights from the Weekly School Connects for the Week of January 16th!

Course Registration for the 2018-2019 school year will begin on January 16th. We will follow a RANCH bell schedule in order provide all of our students the information. Students will watch podcasts regarding which classes they should choose for next year. Teachers will be assisting students on choosing the appropriate classes as well. Students will take course cards to teachers this week to get signatures. More information will be on our website this coming week!

On Wednesday, all 9th, 10th, and 11th graders will attend the Wendell Krinn Technical High School presentation during the day in the gymnasium. They will be able to hear about the new high school and the programs available to them.

Mark your calendars now because on January 24th we will have our ParentU for Course Selection at 6PM in the gymnasium. We hope that families with students currently in grades 9, 10, and 11 will attend as this will allow students to ask questions about what will be expected in classes and which paths they should choose. Current 8th graders will also join us on this evening.

The annual semi-formal Winter Ball will be held at the Gymnasium on Feb 3rd from 6PM to 10PM. Tickets are $20 each & will go on sale on Jan 29th. Proceeds benefit the Class of 2019 & local charities. More information will be on our website this coming week!

Congratulations to Cecilia Duquette, Emilie Pursel, and Abby McNulty on their performances this weekend at the FMEA All-State Concert! What an amazing achievement for all three of our students.

We would also like to congratulate all of the students who participated in the annual Science Fair. The Regional Science Fair will occur on February 10th and we will send 12 projects to compete. Congratulations to Morgan Fliss, Whitney Herd, Raleigh Illig, Adis Kukuljac, Shruti Patel, Kobe Phillips, Maria Abreu, Jeffrey DiVincent, Madelyn Hickey, Livia Rosales, Alyssa Sanchez, and Katilyn Tucker.

Congratulations to our Girls #MustangWeightlifting for sending 7 students to Regionals and to the Boys and Girls #MustangSoccer for both being seeded #1 in District play as the playoffs begin.

Seniors, the Senior Panoramic is on sale on the Gigante website if you are interested in purchasing it.

As a reminder, to celebrate the life and contributions of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we will not have school on Monday, January 15th.

May we #CommitToExcellence each and every day and show how #ExcellenceNeverStops at JWMHS!

We hope that you have a fantastic week! Go Mustangs!
