Here are the highlights from the weekly School Connects for the Week of April 9th.

April is #AutismAwareness Month. We should #Respect, #AcceptUnderstandAndLove our #Mustangs with #Autism. #WearBlueOnWednesdays to show your support!

Please congratulate Holden Honor for his State Runner Up at the State Weightlifting Tournament.

Best of luck to our AP Capstone Research students who present this week as a part of the AP exam! We are very proud of you!

Congratulations to the #MustangStampede Yearbook Staff who recently won the Pacemaker Award from NSPA! This is a prestigious honor and we are very proud of them!

On Tuesday, April 11th, Seniors will be able to pick up their graduation announcements during lunches. If you have a balance due, Herff Jones will be there to assist you.

This Friday is our Kickball Tournament. Please see Mrs. Illig in Room 809 for more information.

Seniors, are you interested in singing the National Anthem or Alma Mater at the graduation ceremony? Auditions are this Friday, April 14th at 3PM in Ms. Schultz’s office. Please see Mrs. Herring to sign up!

Seniors, we would also encourage you to start looking around your house for books or other items that belong to JWMHS. This will expedite Senior Checkout on May 18th and 19th. We would also encourage you to look at your lunch account and make sure that you are paying off any debt and using whatever funds you have remaining on your account.

On April 20th through the 23rd, the #MustangThespians proudly present the hit musical, Bring It On, at the RRHS Performing Arts Center. Tickets are $10 each and can be purchased online or at the box office on the night of the performance. Make sure you purchase your tickets early as each performance is usually a sellout! The night performances on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday begin at 7:30PM and the Saturday and Sunday afternoon shows are a matinee at 2PM.

We hope you have a fantastic week, show great #MustangSpirit, and make #ExcellenceHappenHere!

Go Mustangs!
