Here are the Highlights from the weekly School Connects for the Week of April 8th.
As you may know, April is Autism Awareness Month, and here at Mitchell, we want to celebrate and promote autism awareness. To support this cause, we are asking that students and faculty wear blue every Wednesday for the month of April. We had a wonderful showing on the first Wednesday this past week, and hope to see it grow in the coming weeksas we #LightItUpBlue.
Congratulations to our Girls #MustangTennis team for winning the Conference Championship. We also want to congratulation the Boys and Girls #MustangTrack teams for winning the Conference Championship!
Best wishes to our students who are presenting the AP Capstone Research Projects this week and next.
Relay for Life is this weekend and we want to thank all of the teams who have been fundraising throughout the year in order to contribute to this event.
Student Council applications are due tomorrow, April 9thto Mrs. Besack in Room 721 if you are interested in running for office.
As a reminder, absence notes are due within 72 hours from date of return to the Student Services secretary in the Main Office. Notes will not be accepted after the 72 hour period and the absence will be unexcused. For the last two years we have had a link on our webpage to electronically submit a note and we would encourage you to use this.
Again, as a reminder, please do not deliver food to students or have a service deliver it to students. It will be confiscated and given to the student at the end of the day. Please follow our rules.
Also, we are not able to call students out of class after 2:40PM for early release. If a student must sign out early, please follow the procedure of submitting a note in the morning and we will have the pass ready for the student to leave in a timely manner.
As a reminder to our seniors, April 27this the due date for all online DBAs and coursework and May 4this the due date for all online Pasco eSchool and FLVS final exams if you plan on participating in graduation on May 27th.
May we #CommitToExcellence each and every day and show how #ExcellenceNeverStops at JWMHS!
We hope that you have a fantastic week! Go Mustangs!
