State Solo and Ensemble Results

Students whose solo or ensemble received a Superior rating at our District Solo and Ensemble evaluation were able to advance to the State event in Fort Myers. We had a huge representation at that event from JWMHS. It is very difficult to even advance to the State level so we are fortunate to have so many talented students.

A State Superior is the highest level of achievement for high school musicians in Florida.

Ensembles Receiving STATE SUPERIOR: Colorguard (First Time they have attended), Brass Choir I, Woodwind Choir I, Percussion Ensemble I, Percussion Ensemble II

Solo STATE SUPERIOR Ratings: Charlie Ruocco, Sam Adamita, Jimmy O’Connor, Alex Keeney, James Droege, Rachel Robichaud, Taylor Tischhauser, Derik Gallulo, Colin Gaynor, Jackson Montgomery, Nick Remy x2,Madison Schafer

Solo STATE EXCELLENT Ratings: Kathie Malka, Julia Mannino, Dylan Baur, Stavro Damianakis, Jennifer Rocco, Drew Titland, Noah Coleman, Matt Ellis, Stephanie Cruz, Ankur Aggarwal

Our jazz ensemble also performed at State Evaluation yesterday and maintained a very high rating with Superior, Excellent, and Excellent ratings from the three judges.
